New Feature: Club leaderboard!

Hey, football fans! Hope you’re making the most of the great weather this week and changes to lockdown rules.

We’ve got an exciting update to tell you about!

New Feature: Club leaderboard!

Swindon Town FC Bag Search Policy - News - Swindon Town

This week, we’ve introduced a brand new feature – the club leaderboard!

Ever wanted to answer that age-long question of which club has the best fans? So have we, and this is how we’re doing it.

The board ranks all clubs currently featured on our app – Premier League, Championship, Leagues One and Two – against each other, making it easy to see who’s faring best on FanHub.

Currently leading the way are Birmingham City (68.21), Gillingham (68.2) and Bristol Rovers (66.37) – great work, guys!

Want to see your club at the top next week? Keen to get above your local rivals and prove you have the best fans? Get on the app now, and make sure to share your golden ticket with a mate!

Bluebirds raise £10k for Hardcastle

Last week, 22-year-old Barrow star Lewis Hardcastle was unfortunately forced into an early retirement after being diagnosed with a genetic heart condition.

The midfielder, who came through the youth system at Blackburn, impressed on loan with the Bluebirds in the 2018/19 season before then making his deal permanent in the summer and going on to help the Cumbria club to promotion the following campaign.

In light of his unfortunate early retirement, though, Barrow supporters have stepped in to give him some financial support, all chipping together through a GoFundMe page – including £2,767 from supporters group Bluebirds Trust!

And on Monday evening, 29th March, the page tipped over the £10,000 mark in donations – a phenomenal response from both the Holker Street faithful and the wider footballing community.

Smashing work, Bluebirds fans – you’ve been a credit to the football league in your first season back!

Cheers for reading this week’s newsletter, football fans!

It’s great seeing so many of you getting stuck into our app now – and hopefully this new feature will help bring it even further to life for you.

Make sure to keep an eye out for next week’s update and, until then, stay safe!
